FSX Thunderbirds Airshow

Hopefully the flying dukes will be part of the fsx thunderbirds airshow. but the whole team might not be in it. due to the fact that the team might not be ready in time. if that happens then it will be #4 and #5 doing a 2 pilot demonstration.

We are having some problems with the air show that we are planing. The first thing is we need to get a live feed started and we are having some problems with a technical end of that. The other thing is we would like to see more teams get involved with the creation of this project. well the Flying Dukes have the #1 pilot postion filled (me)


so its not 2 person its 3person at least for now! :]

now we need #2 #3 and #6

well #2 is most lkely going to be skycaptain

so all we need is if #2 and #3 work out is #6 and were good.

the narrator can come a bit later?

nope all we need is 6 and 7 and we are a full demo team

but we do need a ground crew becuase i feel that that will add a whole new feel to realism

are they going to be driving vehicles or some shit like that?

no. go to the becoming apart of the teams forum and then the topic becoming apart of the flying dukes and you will see what im talking about

when i get the chance i will go ahead and try to find a way to use 2 computers to make a live feed

the only down side...


since it's live it will be some what slow, or, very low quality like all pixiey and square

best idea is to just use FSRecorder and have multiple camera people

and also have the participants use FSRecorder too

send em to me or another person and i can integrate sound/music

Well right now the Thunderbirds are working on it so thats not really our problem. If they need our help they will ask.

keep us updated on the show if u dont mind so we can get practicing alot(which i need)

Well there still looking for stuff and so am i.

I have been doing some work on looking into the FSX Air show and I think we have it all figured out. This will cost money, the server that I have been talking to has a way to do this. I will keep you guys up to date with what we are working on. We will have try outs for this show and everyone will meet strict guide lines in this monumental task. The guide lines are being worked on and I am trying to get a meeting with other teams that are into this show. This will be a meeting on how things will go, ex how are we going to get the video onto the live feed. Etc. You guys are more than welcome to participate with this and I will keep you posted on when this conference will happen. I expect that this will take place with in the next month or 2.
