FSX Airshow Association Empty
PostSubject: FSX Airshow Association   FSX Airshow Association EmptyMon Apr 13, 2009 10:24 pm

I am creating an association called the FSXAA (FSX Airshow Association). This is an association of demo teams, demo/aerobatics pilots, and online airshow sites. It will create a way to organize airshows, and/or put together a single massive one. I am looking for demo teams and airshow sites to join, and through them, (single) demo/aerobatics pilots can see this and join.

During the show(s), only a limited amount of performers will be allowed onto the pavement at one time, in order to reduce lag. Other performers will wait in the session lobby until a spot opens (performer up finishes and goes to lobby), at which the next player in the schedule order will be called upon to park on the tarmac. After waiting on the tarmac for their turn, the next performer will taxi to the runway and start his/her performance. Performers that are scheduled for later in the show can practice in free flight until it is within 10 minutes of their performance time. No-shows will be cut from performance and the next player will be moved forward.

The airshow(s) will be recorded via live stream. Communication during the airshow will be provided through teamspeak, of which, channel instructions will be given when more members join. There will also be an/some announcer(s) that will be narrating for the performances and telling the audience about the specs of the aircraft, and pilot history.

I am also making a web site, of which, a little help with setup and editing would be much needed. When enough people are assembled, donations will be much needed so that the website and teamspeak servers can be afforded.

If you have any questions, want to make a donation, or if you can help with the web site, you can contact me at timothydm93@yahoo.com

Thanks,

-Chuck

Live Stream is the only way to do a good FSX airshow.
